In reviewing the month, I got to thinking about this strip in particular. Looking back in my notebook (where I script all the jokes, scenes, videos.. you name it, just a big idea dumping ground really) this joke was written back in Sept. of 2006 on the very first page of said notebook. This has by far been the longest stretch for any of them to go between writing and posting. Dang, if I would have only held out a couple more weeks it would have been two years nearly to the day. Oh well, there are still three on that page so maybe there is hope.
