Today’s strip comes with a little sad news….
As with all good things… they must eventually end. June will mark the final month of Yak’s Pub. This won’t be a vacation, break or lull in the action… it will be a permanent closing to new strips. The site will still remain, comments will still be live, prints will still be available, and Niktom will still be around… just no new comics. It’s a tough decision but one that’s been in the works for some time now.
Some things to be watching for in the final days…
- A few scenes from the ill-fated Talent Night III
- The 1000th Strip!
- Resolution to some long-time running jokes.
- New prints to order and maybe… just maybe… possibly, hopefully, maybe even a t-shirt.
- A MASSIVE Garage Sale

Well, I knew the end was drawing near, but was told to keep it a secret. Still, I’m surprised the cutoff date has gotten here so quickly.

What can I say? Yak’s Pub will be greatly missed, my friend, I have enjoyed reading these for a very long time, and your humor has made my day more than once. Even tho it is sad to see you leave the strips, I understand and wish you the best!

This is really sad to hear. Nothing will be able to compare to this. Your 1000th Strip should be a milestone not the end of the line.
It would honestly be better if you’d just do a few a month instead of close it down but a understand. Maybe Niktom Jr. will take over sometime in the future eh?

im sad to see your comics are coming to an end. i just came across your site yesterday, and i have already had over 10 lol’s from it. thank you for your magnificent work. i love star wars figures and the humor associated with these is great. thanks for all of the laughs.

I have been coming to yak’s pub ever since it started and once i heard it was closing i was sad. I’m going to miss coming here and reading new strips.
